One step closer to a quarter mil

I’m more surprised by the fact that all your pixels work.

My E34 is at 210,000. I’ll race you to 500,000. :)

You need some pixels? I’ve got plenty.
![]() 11/29/2016 at 19:58 |

You have 108,005 miles more than I do.

I only do about 2.5k/year so you’ll probably beat me.

Damn, did you replace any or something? They seem to have made them last longer after the e39.

I have not replaced anything since coming into ownership of the car but it had 14 years of other people before that so who knows.

Git on my level, scrub

Fair enough, it just seems BMWs of that era almost always have a few pixels out.

Nice. My 01 Golf had 217k when a drunk totaled it. I was really hoping to get to 300k.

Overall the condition of this car totally does not match the odometer reading. It feels like a 150k mile car at most.

cool!

More miles than any of my (current) cars.

Demurano was wrong, German cars can be reliable

Maybe don’t tell that to opposaurus though.
![]() 11/29/2016 at 20:27 |

Correction: naturally aspirated German cars can be reliable.

I went from 180k-210k in about 3 years.
![]() 11/29/2016 at 20:36 |

In three years I’ve done just short of 9k. I live on an island. There’s not a lot of driving one can do.

That looks like a BMW instrument cluster

Why yes, yes it is.

You’ve made it to the moon so far. Now time to beat the Apollo 11 mission distance of 953,054 miles.

I’ll settle for “moon and back”.
